Japanese Wreck, off the coast of the Indonesian island of Bali, is the 20 meter long wreck of a Japanese patrol ship that sank during the Second World War. The wreck is full of colourful soft corals and lies at a depth between 2 and 12 meters. It is an easy dive with perfect possibilities for underwater photography.
Particulars
Japanese Wreck is easily accessible. Enter the water from the shore and swim at the surface to the buoy that marks the wreck. You can see the wreck from the surface immediately. If you follow the slope further down, you will encounter numerous beautiful coral formations.
Warnings
Watch out for boats. Sand swirls up quickly, which can influence visibility on Japanese Wreck.
