Römerbucht, which means as much as Roman bay, is a dive site in Vrsar in Croatia, with a wreck and remarkable freshwater springs. The site has a slowly sloping reef full of flora and fauna. The site is home to large lobsters, large conger eels, scorpion fish and large schools of reef fish. The freshwater springs can be found in the shallow parts of Römerbucht, where freshwater bubbles up from large holes in the seabed. The wreck lies at a depth of 17 meters. Römerbucht is suitable for beginners and snorkelers.
Particulars
Römerbucht is located on the south side of the Lim Fjord National Park. The site can be reached by boat in 15 minutes.
