Staubereich Hecht is a special dive site in the Traun River in Austria. This is a 153 kilometer long river in Upper Austria. The spot is known for its many large pike but Staubereich Hecht is also home to perch, tench, salmon and much more. Staubereich Hecht is a versatile and impressive dive site. Dive downstream past the many boulders, canyons, tree stumps, tunnels, ancient streets, medieval fortifications and quay walls.

Dive site Staubereich Hecht, like many dive sites in the Traun River, is located on private property. Book a diving trip and get dropped off in the river by boat. The pike that make this dive site so interesting can be found in an area with lots of bottom vegetation. You will sometimes see more than ten pike during your dive. Dive downstream until you arrive at the end point and are picked up again.
Warnings
Diving in Staubereich Hecht is only possible in extended periods without rainfall. Paid diving.
