TULAMBEN DROP OFF
Indonesië
The popular dive spot Tulamben Drop Off, on the southern tip of Tulamben, is a beautiful wall dive. Tulamben Drop Off starts at a depth of 1 meter and runs steeply from 15 to 60 meters. The reef consists of a beautiful landscape with many overhanging rocks and beautiful coral. Among the many fish species large gorgons, fans and seahorses can be seen. Black and whitetip reef sharks are also regularly spotted here, just as mola mola's and whale sharks. In Tulamben Drop Off you have the best view in the morning. There are few facilities, but there are several dive shops in the village.
Particulars
The most beautiful part of Tulambem Drop Off is located in the deeper parts. Frogfish and pygmy seahorses are two of the many inhabitants. The sandy slopes are the domain of the slugs. Look into the deep blue to possibly spot a mola mola or a whale shark.
Warnings
The many lava stones on the beach sometimes make it difficult to enter the water.
