BOGA WRECK
Indonesië
The Boga Wreck, also known as the Kubu Wreck, is a Dutch-built cargo ship. The ship was sunk in 2012 and lies at a depth of between 16 and 40 meters. This was originally intended to be 32 meters, but the ship has moved to deeper water over the years. The Boga Wreck is 40 meters long and is inhabited by numerous species, such as moray eels, angelfish, anemonefish, fusiliers, clownfish, stingrays, barracudas and more. The Boga Wreck is beautiful to observe from the outside. Experienced wreck divers can also enter the wreck.
Particulars
The Boga Wreck is located near the village of Kubu. This location is not far from the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck. The dive starts at a pebble beach in a nice shallow area that slopes towards the ship. After a short 5-minute dive, you can already see the bow of the Boga Wreck looming. The Boga Wreck is located on a sandy slope about 60 meters from the beach.
Warnings
Only experienced wreck divers can enter the Boga Wreck.
