AMPHI THEATRE
Cyprus
Dive site Amphi Theatre is an unusual dive site in Coral Bay on the island of Cyprus. The name refers to natural rock formations that resemble an amphitheater. In reality, they are rocks eroded over two thousand years as a result of sea currents. Amphi Theatre begins with a sandy bottom where you will encounter cuttlefish and squid. Amphi Theatre is also home to sea bream, groupers, moray eels, octopus, trumpet fish, wrasse and an occasional turtle.
Particulars
Amphi Theatre can be reached from the shore. Enter the water from the rocky shore. Then swim out a bit to reach Amphi Theatre.
