BAU DE LA FERRARA

/ 1 / 2

Bau de la Ferrara is a beautiful boulder, full of Posidonia grass. Among the many overhangs conger eels and lobsters hide, but other fish and slugs can also be found. Parallel to the boulder lies the 60 meter long wreck of the Brigantine. An old ketch with a weight of 100 tons. The wreck slopes gently from 4 to 20 meters, with wreckage spread all over the area. A bit further there's a second, unknown wreck, with a length of 50 meters.

Particulars

Diving at Bau de la Ferrara is only possible by boat. Make a boat trip with Euro-Divers, which is located with a diving center and hotel on the bay of Cala Joncols. Jump into the water from the boat and take a good look around, while diving on Brigantine. There's a cleaning station here, which is frequently visited by mola mola's.

Warnings

Watch out for boats! Always inflate a buoy if you can't find the boat. Watch the time when you dive on Brigantine. The wreck slopes very gently to deeper waters.
