La Virgen means 'Mother Mary with child'. Some imagination is needed, but in the twilight you can indeed recognize a mother and child in the rock. The dive site itself is full of caves, crevices and crannies where a lot of marine life can be found. La Virgen is an ideal dive site for spotting big and small life. It's also an ideal location for night dives. Your safety stop is made next to a large rock, where you may encounter seahorse.
