Sea Lion Rookery is a popular dive site on the southeast side of the island of Santa Barbara, with large colonies of sea lions. Take your video camera with you, because Sea Lion Rookery is absolutely spectacular. You won't have enough eyes to watch the dozens of playful and super agile sea lions. Their tricks and acrobatics never stop and so does their curiosity for divers.

Sea Lion Rookery is located off the coast of Santa Barbara Island and can only be reached by boat. This area is home to the highest concentration of California sea lions in the region. They come here to forage, teach their young how to survive in the wild and to play with divers. Also special about this dive site are the reefs, the large colonies of bat rays and the elephant seals.
