WALCHENSEE GALERIE
Duitsland
Walchensee Galerie is one of the most beautiful dive sites in the Walchensee, with fascinating rock formations, cliffs and overhangs. The site is best known for the huge steep wall located to the left of the entry point. The wall is full of craters and crevasses and runs dozens of meters into the depths. At the right of the entry point lies a steel strip that leads to an old car wreck at a depth of 35 meters. The Walchensee is also very rich in fish with trout, pike perch and eel as common species. The Walchensee is located between Munich and Mittenwald.
Particulars
Walchensee Galerie is located next to a road canopy south of the city of Urfeld. There is a small parking lot near the entry point with steps to the water's edge. You can enter the water from a rocky bank in several places.
Warnings
Walchensee Galerie is a very deep dive site. Diving in winter prohibited. Please inform yourself of any other seasonal bans. Night diving only from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.
