Zevenhuizerplas Strand Strand is the least of the dive sites in the Zevenhuizerplas. Therefore there is not much diving going on at this location. Locations such as Strandgaper and Boothelling in the Zevenhuizerplas are much more interesting. Those who give it a try have to wade to the end of the swimmers zone to descend. Af first you'll reach an area full of vegetation that gradually turns into a terraced wall. Common species in Zevenhuizerplas Strand are mainly roaches and crayfish.
Particulars
Zevenhuizerplas Strand is located at the Nessebeach. Park at the boulevard and cross the street. Now enter the water from the beach and descend in search of the plant zone and the plateaus to discover marine life. Take notice of the holes in the walls. These are usually inhabited by crayfish and eels.
Warnings
Zevenhuizerplas Strand is a recreational beach that can be very crowded in summer time. Beware of unstable overhanging walls.
