REEUWIJKSE PLASSEN
Nederland, Zuid Holland
The Reeuwijkse Plassen are known as a nice dive spot in South Holland with varying visibility. It's also a fish-rich dive spot, with a beautiful underwater course and perhaps the longest peat wall in the Netherlands. Underwater there is also a large diving platform on which diving schools can do their exercises. Fish can especially be seen near the water plants, the 'Fluisterbos' ('Whisper forest') and the peat wall.
Particulars
The Reeuwijkse plassen can be entered from a wooden jetty. Follow the short tire track to get to the underwater course. Then pay a visit to the bus and the 'Fluisterbos' to spot large pike.
Warnings
Stick in the Reeuwijkse plassen to the dive area indicated on the map! Take surfers and other recreational users into account.
