Fifth boy saved from cave in Thailand

Boy transported to hospital by ambulance

Rescue workers just rescued at least one boy from the Thai cave in which twelve young football players and their coach have been trapped for days. This has been confirmed by an employee of the Thai Navy. The rescue operation was resumed this morning. Yesterday, the first four boys were saved.

Witnesses report that recue workers have taken the boy to an ambulance on a stretcher. The ambulance then left for the hospital with flashing lights. Despite the heavy rains the water level in the cave has not changed. The four boys, who were saved on Sunday, are still in the hospital. The boys are said to be in good health but are still being kept in hospital for observation. The boys were stuck in the cave from 23 June untill 8 July.
