STEINBRUCH WILDSCHUTZ
Duitsland
Steinbruch Wildschütz is one of the deepest dive sites in central and northern Germany. The site is full of objects all connected by a rope. At a depth of 50 meters there is an airplane wreck and some old machines. Other objects in Steinbruch Wildschütz are a pump house, an old freight elevator and an old road. The most important object is the research station at a depth of 9 meters. It's the only active underwater station in Europe and one of only three in the world. Steinbruch Wildschütz is especially popular with technical divers, but parts of the site are suitable for divers of all levels. Access via the diving school at the water's edge. Note opening hours. Paid diving.
