SUNDHAUSER SEE
Duitsland
Sundhäuser See is a beautiful dive site with lots of life and generally very good visibility, sometimes up to 20 meters. Huge pike, carp and eels thrive in these crystal clear, light blue waters. The Sundhäuser See has multiple entry points, each with its own characteristic features. Striking at entry point, 'Landzunge', is Nordhausia, at about 13 meters. Nordhausia is a submerged village, including an observation tower, part of a city wall, a cemetery and two houses. And then there is the crowd-pleaser Sundi, a huge steel dragon at a depth of 5 meters. This dive site, with its walls, wrecks and hills is very varied. Always book in advance at one of the two diving schools.
Particulars
The Sundhäuser See is easily accessible. Enter the water at one of the entry points. Due to the exceptionally good visibility at Sundhäuser See the sunlight reaches great depths. Therefore you may encounter vegetation up to 20 meters deep.
Warnings
