Bau de la Ferrara is a beautiful boulder, full of posidonia grass. Conger eels, rays and lobsters hide in the sandy bottom or under the many overhangs. Parallel to the boulder lies the 60 meter long wreck of the Brigantine. An old vessel with a weight of 100 tons. The wreck slopes gently from 4 to 20 meters, with wreckage spread all over the area. A bit further there's a second, unknown wreck, with a length of 50 meters.
Particulars
Diving at Bau de la Ferrara is only possible by boat. Make a boat trip and visit the Brigantine wreck. There's als o cleaning station around, which is frequently visited by mola mola's.
Warnings
There can be a lot of boat traffic at El Bisbal! Always inflate a buoy if you can't find the boat. Watch the time when you dive on Brigantine. The wreck slopes very gently to deeper waters.
