Easy dive site
Baggersee Leopoldshaven is a beautiful dive site. However, diving is only possible on public holidays and on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and only with official approval by the Nautische Gesellschaft Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen. So always sign up for diving. The number of divers is deliberately limited.
Particulars
Baggersee Mittelgrund is located in the north of Leopoldshafen between the Rhine and the A36 motorway. The site has several entry points. The visibility in Baggersee Mittelgrund is exceptionally good. You'll spot crayfish on the bottom and schools of fish along the banks.
Warnings
Baggersee Mittelgrund is not always accessible. Sign up for diving first. Night diving prohibited. Diving in winter diving prohibited (1st November - 31st of March).
