De Gavers is a beautiful dive site, located in a nature reserve in the Belgian town of Deerlijk-Harelbeke. Diving in De Gavers is only allowed for paying West Flemish diving clubs. They make exclusive use of the provincial recreation area De Gavers. Guest divers can only make a guest dive here through one of the affiliated diving clubs. The Gavers has beautiful diving water with lots of fish, such as pike, pike-perch and roach.
Particulars
Enter the water at De Gavers by use of the spacious jetty with stairs. Visibility is generally limited, but can sometimes be quite high. The bottom consists of sand and green zones full of vegetation.
