Los Chuchos is one of the most beautiful dive sites in Tenerife. It's a dive site with many overhangs, small caves and even a sunken, wooden fishing boat. The marine life is diverse but the stingray predominates. That's why Los Chuchos is also called Stingray City. The rays can be approached up close, they are used to divers. Six different stingray species call Los Chuchos their home, next to morays, tuna, snappers, barracudas and more.
Particulars
Los Chuchos lies just a few minutes from the port of Las Galletas. Descend and start your dive in search of the fishing boat. And the stingrays? It 's not uncommon to spot twenty of them during one single dive. You'll find them resting on the bottom or hiding between the rocks.
