Easy dive site

Located on the busy Playa Grande in Puerto Del Carmen, you dive along a high wall, which overhangs in some places. Lobsters are hiding everywhere, you often see groupers but also trumpet fish and slugs. When you look away from the wall into the big blue you will spot predatory fish such as stingrays and barracudas.

Particulars

In the wall you come across a hole, one diver at a time can pass through it. Go a little further and you will see a memorial stone in memory of Richard Lieftink, a Dutch dive guide who has died here at the age of 27 (not diving related). He discovered this dive site, it is named after him. The memorial stone was placed by family and friends.
