HELDERSE ZEETUINEN
Nederland, Noord Holland
The Helderse Zeetuinen is one of the few dive sites in the Netherlands, situated in the North Sea. Dive at ebb and wait for very quiet weather and a very calm sea. This will ensure a safe dive with good visibility. Life is exuberant here. The Helderse Zeetuinen is home to Northern lobsters, grey seals and much more. The bottom can change as a result of a turbulent sea.
Particulars
Enter the Helderse Zeetuin from the small stretch dam, which falls dry at ebb. In summer there is a rope here. Use it, the stones may be slippery. Park at restaurant Nogal Wiedus or Fort Kijkduin and cross the street to reach the entry point. Swim past the dam where you entered the water until you reach large bricks at about 3 meters. Search between the stones for crabs and fish and then move to deeper water.
Warnings
Use the rope to enter the water, stones can be slippery. Pay attention to the green buoy in the north. Conditions are good If it stands upright. Pay attention to shipping.
