Duiktorens Enkhuizen, owned by the education center BC-opleidingen, is used on weekdays for the training of professional divers. On weekends, the diving company Totally Scuba operates these dive towers for sport divers. Duiktorens Enkhuizen consists of two indoor diving towers, with a depth of 3.5 and 9 meters, and numerous diving facilities such as classrooms, toilets and changing rooms. Sport divers can use the towers via Totally Scuba for activities such as a trial dive with a diving helmet. Diving schools can contact them to use Duiktorens Enkhuizen as an indoor location for training or association days.
Particulars
Duiktorens IJmuiden has a parking lot right in front of their facility. The entry point is reached via wide stairs. There is a freight elevator for your dive gear. Once at the basins you can enter the water via steps. The entry area is 1.30 meters deep and is located between the two dive towers. The water in the towers has a constant temperature of 21 degrees. Camera footage of your operations is available upon request.
Warnings
Duiktorens IJmuiden is open for sport divers and diving schools by appointment only. Limited parking up to 25 cars. Access via stairs. Recompression tank available.
