Remains second Dutch diver found in wreck Le Serpent

The remains of the second Dutch diver, who went missing on Saturday at dive site Scharendijke, has been found. The body was found in the wreck Le Serpent by divers of the Royal Navy at around 11:00 a.m. and is currently being recovered. The identity of the diver has not yet been established. "This brings the search to an end," according to the national police.

Experienced divers

Both were experienced divers from the Dutch region of The Hague. The two were diving at wreck Le Serpent in Scharendijke at around 18:00 on Saturday, but didn't return from their dive. We call on everyone not to speculate. The police will start an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
