Punta de la Trona is located in a corner of the bay of Cala Joncols, next to dive site, La Trona. This site is often used as a one-way-dive. You will be dropped here to dive towards La Trona or La Piscina. At depth many rocks can be found with caves and overhangs and marine life in this area is abundant. Due to the strong current large schools of fish congregate here. Punta de la Trona's is especially known for its beautiful red coral. Look beneath the large blocks to spot it.
Particulars
Punta de la Trona can only be reached by boat. The trip takes no more than 10 minutes from Cala Joncols.
Warnings
Watch out for boats at Punta de la Trona. Currents can be surprising.
