Dive spot Sekolah Dasar is located on the north side of the island Nusa Penida. The dive site starts with a shallow, slowly descending plateau that runs from a depth of 10 metres into the depths at an angle of 45 degrees. The current is usually strong, ideal for a drift dive along the slope. The slopes here are covered with beautiful colorful corals, where you can find a wide variety of fish. Reef sharks are regularly spotted here, as well as mola mola's in season. The name Sekolah Dasar is originates from the primary school, Sekolah Dasar, which lies at the opposite of the dive site.
Particulars
Enter the water of Sekolah Dasar from the boat. Around 25 meters you'll have a good chance to spot manta rays, white tip reef sharks and black tip reef sharks. Tuna and barracuda are found here aswell.
Warnings
Current can be strong. Water temperature can be lower than normal, due to currents from the depths.
