Easy dive site

Galawa Abu Kebir is a popular stopover for live aboard boats. It is a fantastic dive site. The wreck of the Chinese tug boat Tien Hsing (Tienstin) lies here. The 34 meter tug is fully covered with bouquets of beautiful soft and hard corals. The wreck is an impressive sight that makes you want to dive it.

Particulars

Apart from the wreck, the reef of Abu Kebir Galawa is beautiful. It is a large reef where you have plenty of opportunity to dive along walls, pinnacles and passageways. And if you stay here on a live aboard boat, you can make beautiful night dives at Abu Kebir Galawe.
