Galawa Abu Kebir is a popular stopover for live aboard boats. It is a fantastic dive site. The wreck of the Chinese tug boat Tien Hsing (Tienstin) lies here. The 34 meter tug is fully covered with bouquets of beautiful soft and hard corals. The wreck is an impressive sight that makes you want to dive it.
