Crocodile Rock is a low rock and viewed from a certain angle this offshore rock looks like a crocodile. The dive site lies 150 meters offshore between Dwejra Point and Fungus Rock. Crocodile Rock and can be tackled from the shore but is usually a boat dive.W ith its many gullies and fissures, it is home to a wide variety of marine life. The dive starts from a shallow lagoon 6 to 8 meters deep. After a few meters one swims over a steep drop off that goes down to a maximum depth of 45m. One can enjoy swimming along this vertical wall in the company of many different species of fish.
Particulars
The boat will anchor at a 7 meter deep spot. This is where your dive will start. The bottom around the rock is no deeper than 16 meters, experienced divers can take some other deeper route.
Warnings
The sea can be quite rough here, making it a bit difficult to exit the water. Stong currents at the seaside of the rock.
