Dijkval is at its best between 4 and 6 meters. Crabs and lobsters hide between the rocks, while galathea shrimps search for food on the large oysterbank. The bottom mainly consists of sand. Climb over the small wall to get to the entry point.
Erosion has caused parts of the dike to fall apart over the years. The old dike remnants can still be seen.
Dijkval is located in a shellfish plot. Diving is not allowed when fishermen are present. Be aware of underwater obstacles near the entry point.
