FLAUWERS-WEST 39

/ 3 / divemap

This is a diverse dive site. It has muddy soil, a stone ramp, an overgrown wreck and a well that is 35 meters deep. Flatfish, shrimp, hermit crabs, sea squirts and brittle stars dominate the underwater life. The nearby restaurant, “De Heerenkeet,” has a stunning view of De Oosterschelde.

Particulars

At high tide, you dive into the shallow end over silt and sand. More to the northeast you will find large basalt blocks that turn into a sloping sandy bottom.

Warnings

Be careful of slippery rocks at low tide
