REIGERPLAS
Nederland, Flevoland
The Reigerplas is a moderate dive site for fall, spring or early summer. In these periods visibility is good, rising up to 6 meters. In summer time plant growth increases, which causes visibility to drop. The Reigerplas has a mainly sandy bottom and is home to carps. They mostly congregate at the west bank, but they are difficult to spot. The water gets dark below 5 meters. Bring your diving lamp.
Particulars
Enter the water at the trailer slope, after you have entered the forest road at the two concrete pillars at the beginning of the Ooievaarsweg. The road ends at the water front.
Warnings
Slippery entry point at trailer slope. Watch out for boats! Limited visibility in summer time.
