MARSA ABU DABOUR
Egypte
The reef at the Moreen Beach Dive Centre is known as one of the best shore dives in the region. The combination of beautiful underwater scenery and a great diversity of marine life makes for unforgettable diving! You can follow three different routes: south of the coast, north from the coast or from the jetty. You make the easiest dive north from the coast. At the reef are schools of fusiliers and mullet. You can also see a cave, a beautiful lagoon and fire coral.
Particulars
If you dive south of the coasts, you see a coral gorge, a shallow cave and a reef wall. Follow the wall and go back through the cave or the lagoon. When you dive from the jetty, you have a chance to see the trigger fish, dolphins and eagle rays. In the shallower part near the jetty is an artificial reef where lionfish hunt hundreds of glass fish.
Warnings
In windy weather enter the water from the jetty. The jetty provides protection when going in and out of the water.
