Mike's Point is a dive site in the Rooi-Els area near Cape Town, South Africa with rock formations and sandy channels. The name Mike's Point is derived from the name of a diver who regularly explored this area. Mike's Point marine life is similar to that of nearby dive sites such as Coral Gardens and Container Bay.
Particulars
Mike's Point is located on the east side of False Bay. The easiest way to reach the site is by boat. It's also possible to make a shore dive from dive site Container Bay. However, you'll have to swim out at least 200 meters.
Warnings
Mike's Point lies fairly close to shore. Still, given the distance, a boat dive is recommended.
