NEELTJE JANS
Nederland, Zeeland
Dive site Neeltje Jans is located halfway the Oosterscheldekering on the work island, Neeltje Jans. The dive site is interesting because this is where the 66th pillar of the Oosterscheldekering is located. It's a spare pillar that has never been used and now serves as a tourist attraction. The pillar is beautifully overgrown and an ideal subject for underwater photographers. A little further on there is also a large, colorful mussel hanging culture. Diving is not allowed. The site is managed by the Dutch Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat.
