PLAYA ABOU (GROTE KNIP)
Curaçao
Playa Abou is popular among local residents. They come in large groups to stay the day. Under water Play Abou is less crowded. The drop-off slopes down at around 45 degrees and from a depth of 13 meters even steeper. You'll see amazing coral formations, sponges and an abundance of marine life.
Particulars
Enter Grote Knip from the beach. Then swim out to get to the drop-off. It takes about ten minutes before you are far enough to descend. The coral density in front of the beach is quite low and gets closer the more you get to depth.
