PLAYA GIPY

Playa Gipy is a very remote and hard-to-reach dive site, where you can only dive once under calm weather conditions. You will see dense coral formations from a depth of 12 meters, after passing a slowly sloping sandy bottom. Only dive here with a local guide.
Particulars
Playa Gipy can be reached via a sandy path from dive site Watamula. Climb down the rock to reach the beach, where you can enter the water. Once underwater you can expect healthy corals and large fish species, such as nurse sharks and sea bass.
Warnings
Playa Gipy is a dive site with the necessary dangers. Dive with a local guide and only at calm sea. Strong currents during your dive can increase in strength or change direction. Good compass navigation and good physical condition required.
