Rock Key is a dive site with lots of corals and lots of crevices and caverns. The crevices start at a depth of 9 meters, they offer just enough space for a diver.

Rock Key is located east of Sand Key and is marked with reef buoys. The clear shallow water is also excellent for snorkeling.

Rock key is a SPA location. Removing objects from this area is forbidden. The SPA (Sanctuary Preservation Area) is part of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
