Samantha's Reef in Middle Keys, Florida in the United States is known for its nurse sharks. You can count on meeting one or two nurse sharks with each dive. Samantha's Reef is also home to manta rays and large schools of reef fish. Samantha's is a simple dive site suitable for divers of all levels.

Particulars

Samantha's Reef is accessible by boat. Look for nurse sharks as soon as you enter the water. You'll soon come across them. The animals are not afraid and sometimes come to you, but do not feed or touch them.

Warnings

Beware. The nurse sharks of Samantha's Reef have lost their fear of humans, but don't touch or feed the animals. Fire coral is found at this dive site.
