Uitstekend zicht. De indrukwekkende veenwanden waren mooi zichtbaar. Veel grondels in alle soorten en maten. Een drietal flinke baarzen.

De bovenste 10 meter is warm (20°C) en slecht zicht (max 1 m), daaronder helder, maar wel fris. De veenwanden zijn prachtig op 12 meter!

Na instap rechtsaf. Zicht tor 3mtr. Klein wrakje, grondels, kreeftje en een paling. Nog een briefje van 10 gevonden :-). Leuke duik.

Twee grote snoeken en een meerkoet die in het ondiepe meerdere keren naast ons kwam zwemmen op zoek naar eten

Naar rechts langs de afgrond, mooie structuren tot 22 meter. Twee palingen gespot in de wand, en nog een flinke snoekbaars en baars.

Goed zicht, boven thermocline 14 graden er onder 10. Snoek bij instap.

Mooie duik met wisselend zicht. Onder thermocline goed, daarboven matig. Linksaf richting eiland 2. Mooie begroeing.

Mooie duik langs de veenwal. Aan het einde enorme snoekbaars en grote school baarzen.

Mooie duik met goed zicht gemaakt.

Kraakhelder op diepte. De veenwanden tussen 10 en 14 meter zijn absoluut de moeite waard om te bezoeken en daar een polsdikke paling gespot.

Zandeiland 1 (Sand Island 1) is accessible by boat or from the shore. The underwater nature is beautiful. Exuberant vegetation, crystal clear water and an abundance of fish. Objects are scarce, but Eiland 1 does have the necessary facilities, such as changing rooms and bathrooms. In addition, it is an ideal location to visit with the family. You can swim and sunbathe.

Enter the water from the shore. Eiland 1 is noted for its beautiful underwater scenery, full of lush vegetation and a great amount of fish. This dive site is managed by Recreatieschap Stichtse Groenlanden.
Warnings
Dive Eiland 1 always with a buoy. Be aware of the boats. Exit can be a bit of a challenge.
