WISSELVALLIGHEID
Nederland, Noord Holland
The wreck of the Wisselvalligheid lies at a depth of 42 meters. The ship sank in January 1996. It was foggy day and the sea was flat when the 120 meter long Baltic Stone hit her midship on the port side. The Baltic Stone had been on a collision course for some time and didn't respond to the ship's horn, nor to the distress call via channel 16. The cutter sank quickly, but the five crew members still managed to reach the wheelhouse of the Baltic Stone. There were no casualties.
