ADOLFOSEE
Duitsland, Nordrhein-Westfalen
The Adolfosee is one of the few dive sites in Germany where freshwater jellyfish are found. This indicates excellent water quality. Nevertheless, at a maximum of 3 meters, visibility is not exceptionally good. At the bottom of the lake are several objects, such as some blown up bunkers and the wreck of a pedal boat. At various depths are diving platforms and anchored at a depth of 6 meters is a memorial to Jaques Cousteau. Most of the life in the Adolfosee can be found along the shore. Look among the shore vegetation and bottom vegetation to see if you can spot perch, roach and crayfish. Paid diving.
Particulars
The Afolfosee has two entry points. Enter the water from the steps at entry 1 or from the jetty at entry 2.
Warnings
Visibility in the Adolfosee can be disappointing. Paid diving.
