CAR PILE
Curaçao
Car Pile is known for its car wrecks. The cars were dumped here in the sixties and can be found to a depth of 50 meters. There are complete car wrecks, but also all kinds of car parts such as exhausts, doors and tyres. Around 20 meters you will also find construction waste. Car Pile also consists of two drop-offs, sand channels and coral islands.
Particulars
Enter the water of Marie Pampoen via the sandy beach. Swim out of the restricted swimming area and then turn left. The bottom immediately descends steeply. Look for the construction waste at 18 meters and for the car wrecks between 28 and 50 meters. You come across the wreck of a boat at first before you reach the car wrecks.
