LITHSE HAM
Nederland, Noord Brabant
Lithse Ham is a dive site with a high biodiversity, caused by an open connection with the river, the Maas. Dive around dusk to spot the most variety. Lithse Ham is home to pike, perch, stone perch, bream, tench and much more. Also crabs, freshwater prawns, loaches and some flatfish thrive here. The dive site is managed by Dive Team Lith. They onwn a clubhouse, with scuba filling station, in front of the entry point. Access to the water is free, but the clubhouse is surrounded by a fence. Take notice of opening hours if you want to use the jetty or the filling station.
Particulars
Enter the water of Lithse Ham via the jetty of Dive Team Lith or via Lithse Ham Beach. To use the jetty you have to have access to the terrain of Dive Team Lith. Walk from the parking lot to Lithse Ham Beach if the clubhouse is closed. There is plenty to see underwater. Most of the underwater objects, such as some wrecks and tubes, are located in front of the clubhouse. At the left side of the jetty, between 3 and 6 meters, you'll come across several clay bulges as well and more to the northwest lies a city bus.
Warnings
Don't jump into the water, it's not deep enough! Beware of boats (max. speed 5 km/h). Be aware of fishing gear.
