MAARSSEVEENSE PLASSEN

The southwest side of the Maarsseveense Plassen was a popular dive site that is now only open to club members of diving team Nautilus. The spot is known to old-timers as the old SDMP diving area. The dive site has an extensive dive tire trail with numerous underwater objects. The trail passes dive objects such as the Brandaris, several tire reefs and a large underwater house. You'll encounter lots of marine life along the way, including carp and large pike.
Particulars
The old SDMP dive site in the Maarsseveense Plassen can be entered via a jetty. You'll end up in an extensive dive park with numerous underwater objects and fish. The marine life doesn't only hide between these objects. On the southwest bank runs a reed belt where you can spot pike, bream and schools of young fish.
Warnings
Diving in the old SDMP dive site in the Maarsseveense Plassen is only allowed to club members of dive club Nautilus.
