PUTTIS PLACE 62
Nederland, Zeeland
Putti's Place is a nice dive site with a small unrecognizable wreck and a wide variety of marine life. Two landslides took place at Putti's Place, one in 1856 and one in 1945. The sloping bottom is diverse and overgrown with weeds, yet artefacts of both disasters can still be found. Puti's Place is named after the Belgian diver, Roger Puttaert, who did most of the archaeological finds.
Particulars
Enter the water from the shore. Putti's Place has also a deep, but not very interesting well. It's also a breeding area for cuttlefish in May and June.
Warnings
Only use your compass while navigating. No diving with northeastern winds, stronger than wind force 4.
