KATTENDIJKE 64A
Nederland, Zeeland
Dive site Kattendijke 64A is a beautiful dive site with even at depth a lot to see. The slope mainly consist of sandy bottoms, interspersed with stones and nicely overgrown oyster beds. The site is also called Kattendijke Trap (stairs), not to be confused with Kattendijke 64 or Kattendijke Parking. Kattendijke Trap descends at low tide from the waterline to a depth of 25 meters. Most life can be spotted between 5 and 20 meters deep.
Particulars
Kattendijke 64A is located west of dive site Kattendijke Parking 64. It's the most western dive site along the dike between Wemeldinge and Kattendijke. Go down the stairs to reach the water. Diving is possible at low and high tide, but it's easier to enter the water at high tide. At low tide an area of about 120 meters falls dry, which will force you to walk over rocks and oysters to reach the water.
Warnings
Kattendijke 64A is difficult to enter at low tide.
