'T Schaartven is a recreational resort in a wooded area, near the tourist town of Overloon in North Brabant. It's a shallow dive with three entry points. Do not expect too much, but enjoy the the biodiversity and the reasonable visibility. 'T Schaartven is especially surprising because of its varied bottom, with lots of hills, ridges and slots.
Dive site 't Schaartven has 3 entry points. Park at the kiosk and enter the water past the buoy mark, separating the swimming area. Then dive to entry point 2 in the south side, where huge freshwater mussels can be found. Park along Schaartven to reach entry 2 and 3 from land.
Sign up at the kiosk and leave your insurance information and diving plan in case of an emergency. No large groups on busy days. Beware of high shore at entry 3.
