VEERHAVEN ZIJPE
Nederland, Zeeland
Veerhaven Zijpe is a special dive site in the Oosterschelde. It's a mussel farm in the former ferry port of Zijpe, in Bruinisse. The suspended mussel cultures are beautiful to see, just as the algae, sponges, anemones, slugs and small and large fish. Overall, a very nice dive. Make reservations in advance or book a boat dive.
Particulars
Use the stairs in the dike for an easy access to the water. A rope will lead you to a pontoon, near the first suspended mussel cultures. Make reservation at the nearby restaurant, De Vluchthaven, as well.
Warnings
To dive Veerhaven Zijpe you need to make reservations in advance. Or book a boat dive.
