Zoutelande, also called Reddingspost Zoutelande, is a dive site in the Westerschelde named after the rescue post, which is located here. Diving at Zoutelande is possible at high and low tide. Limit your dive to 40 minutes to avoid strong currents. Experienced divers only!

Particulars

Cross the dike via the concrete stairs. Than enter the water at the beach, next to the pile heads and de rescue post. Underwater you'll be struck by the abundance of anemones, sea squirts, starfish, brittle stars and hermit crabs.

Warnings

Limit your dive time to 40 minutes to avoid strong currents. Wacht out for boating!
