EL FARO
Spanje
El Faro is a beautiful dive site with impressive rock formations and one of the most beautiful volcanic landscapes in Tenerife. A dive at El Faro is a glimpse into the genesis of the island. The bottom exists of hills, arches, tunnels and ravines that were created thousands of years ago as a result of lava flows. Inhabitants of this special place are barracudas, anemones, squids, cuttlefish and much more.
Particulars
El Faro is located at the southernmost tip of Tenerife about ten minutes by boat from the Rasca lighthouse. Concentrate on the rock formations and the bottom during your dive. The landscape of El Faro is formed thousands of years ago when lava flows, streaming down from the mountains, solidified.
