El Sueño is a surprisingly beautiful. It's a deep dive site that is most interesting between 30 and 90 meters and even deeper. El Sueño's underwater world is breathtaking though. Beautiful orange corals thrive against the slope of a volcanic plateau not far from a canyon overgrown with black corals where schools of barracudas congregate around an arch.
Particulars
El Sueño lies off the southern tip of the island of Tenerife and is only accessible by boat. Prepare for a challenging but spectacular dive.
Warnings
Dive site El Sueño is only suitable for technical divers. Beware of pleasure boats. Use a surface buoy if necessary.
